Our country is Indonesia. It is a republic. A president leads this county. Now our president is Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The president cooperates with the vice president. Mr. Prof. Dr. Boediono, M.Ec. is our vice president. The president and the vice president have some assistants. They are ministers. Ministers lead a department. A minister has responsible to the president.
The president and the vice president are chosen by the members of people’s consultative assembly of the republic of Indonesia. Thus, they are responsible to the people’s consultative assembly of the republic of Indonesia. The members of the House of Representative supervise the work of the government.

I Love Animals
My name is Rahmat. I have a cat. My cat is brown and I love it very much. Every day, I feed it. I also like to go to Gembira Loka Zoo in Yogyakarta. In there, I can see many animals, like tiger, lion, crocodile, elephant etc. They are wild animals.
The government preserves them. Government preserves them because some people like to hunt them and they are almost extinct.

Only in Seven Days
Once upon a time, there was a man, named Jaka. He lived in Far Far Away Kingdom. The king asked him to send a letter to Negeri Impian Kingdom. The king also asked him to reach Negeri Impian only in seven days.
On Sunday, he had to leave Far Far Away Kingdom and said good bye to his family.
The next day, he reached a dangerous forest. He had to pass the forest to reach Negeri Impian Kingdom.
When he was in the forest, he met a snake. He had to defeat the snake to get his way. He fought with the snake bravely and he won.
The next day, he met a giant. He also fought with the Giant and won it again.
On Thursday, he met a hungry tiger which wanted to eat him. Although he was in a rush, he had to fight with the tiger.
On the next day, he felt really tired. He had reached in the dessert. He felt thirsty as the air was so hot.
Jaka was so happy, because he had reached Negeri Impian Kingdom and sent his letter to the King of Negeri Impian.
Finally, the king of Negeri Impian got the message from the King of Far Far Away Kingdom.

The Legend of Salatiga
Many years ago there was a sunan who was very honest. He taught about religion and the meaning of life. His name is Sunan Kalijogo. He adventured to spread his lesson. One day, he arrived in a village. He went to the village chief’s house. Sunan Kalijogo didn’t say his real name and he asked for a job. The chief’s wife said that he could help to cut grass for horses.
Sunan Kalijogo liked to live simply. Soon after that, The chief realized that the man was Sunan Kalijogo. The chief was very surprised. Then, he decided to follow the Sunan’s lesson. To follow the Sunan lesson, he had to leave all his properties, but his wife didn’t agree. So, his wife brought jewelery in a bamboo.
When they were taking a rest in a village, there was a robber. He took all the things from the Chief’s wife. Sunan said that this place would be busy and full of people. He gave the place a name. The name was Salahtiga, because in this place there were three wrong people. There were the chief, his wife and the robber who like to collect properties. And now, the place is called Salatiga.
